Little pic of painting by me self in "past life" (mid 1970s) using acrylic paint. I'm no painter, but it was fun, like pushing around colored mud. The following is complete BS in all probability... Symbol on right bottom represents circle (eternity), infinity sign, triangle (trinities [e.g. creative, sustaining, destructive or thesis/antithesis/synthesis]), cross represents duality and its fourfold development (+ +, + -,- +, - -). The upper left five point star represents prime number 5 as an achetype of development under the fantasy that ontological evolution follows prime numbers and we, whatever "we" is, are only up to number 3 (inclusive of 1 & 2): meaning to say we've "mastered" up to 3 and have entered 5 but not mastered it (note 4 is not a prime number, but an "unfoldment" of 2). Of course left unmentioned is how zero and negative numbers fit in this scenerio: I think it's safe to say we got a bit of the negativity around and zero [?]... for a start there is dreamless sleep and the presence of darkness. Further unmentioned herein are relations amidst compounds of the factors we have at our disposal (e.g. 2*3*2 = 12) which are perhaps similar to chemical compounds made of the basic elements. Told ya, BS ;-) The rest of the symbolism is beyond the scope of my current state of mind, or at least my ability to put out any concentrated effort into expressing it. |
